We love to make floral hearts, indeed, we are honoured to create each one. So often they are sent with a very special message; a message to convey warm wishes and well-being. Some are for happy occasions when we want to say ‘Happy Birthday’, ‘Happy Anniversary,’ or 'Congratulations’ whilst other are sent to show support at those sad moments in our lives with a ‘Sorry to hear that…’ or ‘Thinking of you’ message.
Each heart is created on a wire frame. Firstly, we collect fresh green moss from the shady parts of our garden and we bind this onto the frame. Then, we collect fresh sprigs from different plants in the garden and carefully bind these on to create the final design. So each heart is a little different, each one reflects the season as the year unfolds; spring, summer, autumn and winter. We attach a decorative handle so the heart is all ready to hang outside on a door, gate, fence or favourite tree. And we deliver each heart in a gift box together with a complimentary envelope of easy-to-grow wild flower seeds. We hope the recipient will sow and grow a small patch of wild flowers, year after year; a constant reminder that somebody is thinking of them.
