Terms and Conditions

Product

  1. Every product is unique. We cut the best of what is flowering on the day to be included in our arrangements and therefore cannot guarantee specific flower varieties.

  2. All products are susceptible to temperature and lack of hydration. We accept no responsibility for the deterioration of flowers if they are placed in direct sunlight or not provided with fresh hydration.

  3. Photographs used on the website are for illustrative purposes of size and style only. We reserve the right to use flowers based on seasonal availability and quality.

  4. Please note some flowers may be harmful or poisonous. If you require further information before ordering please contact us. Please do not eat the flowers or any other botanical items that we supply.

  5. We pride ourselves on the quality of our flowers. However, if you are not satisfied with your order please contact us. At our discretion, we may offer a replacement or a refund, dependent on specific circumstances.

  6. Should you wish to cancel your order, at least 48 hours notice of the collection/delivery day must be given in order to receive a full refund. If an order is cancelled less than 48 hours before intended collection/delivery day payment will be forfeited.

  7. Collection is from our designated collection point at The Moorhouse, Duns, TD11 3RY

  8. It is your responsibility to ensure we have the correct delivery information, Borders Eco Flowers accepts no responsibility for non-delivery if incorrect information is provided.

  9. If a recipient is not available for delivery, the arrangement will be left in a safe place or with a neighbour. Flowers are left at your own risk and Borders Eco Flowers accepts no responsibility once delivery has been made.

  10. In the rare event that we are unable to provide a product that has been ordered/booked, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and a full refund provided.

  11. In the event of sudden illness, severe weather conditions or other acts beyond our control which inhibit our ability to deliver flowers or adequately perform our services Borders Eco Flowers will not be held responsible.

    Payment

    Workshops

  1. Workshop bookings are confirmed by full payment upon booking.

  2. Workshop bookings are non-refundable. You may send someone else in your place if you are unable to attend.

  3. Borders Eco Flowers reserves the right to cancel a workshop in the light of unforeseen circumstances. In this case the full booking payment will be refunded, however Borders Eco Flowers does not accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred.

  4. Borders Eco Flowers reserves the right to take photographs during workshops to be used for promotional purposes. If you would prefer not to be included in workshop photographs this must be indicated upon booking.

  5. Food provided on our workshops is made in a kitchen where allergens may be present. You are responsible for informing us of any food allergies or intolerances prior to the workshop.

    order/payments

  6. During order submission you will be asked to provide us with your personal details, including accurate postcode, together with those of the intended recipient and payment details.We accept payments by BACS transfer and upon receipt of your order form or of your order by telephone, email or social media message we will contact you to confirm your order and will send you our BACS details for payment. Payment should be made before the delivery date.If payment has not been received by the delivery date we reserve the right to cancel and not to proceed with the order. When you click on the submit button on the order form you are consenting to being bound by our terms and conditions contained in these Terms and Conditions and appearing anywhere on the online site.

  7. Submitting your Order Form is subject to our acceptance of this offer and we will not consider ourselves bound by a contract with you unless we have issued you a confirmation of order delivery by email or sent you a message on social media (on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger) or by telephone or text message. Please note that sometimes our email replies are automatically transferred into customers spam folders. It is important that you always check your spam folders if you have not heard from us in response to an order request or enquiry.

    DELIVERY

  8. Our delivery service is only within the Scottish Borders, East Lothian and North Northumberland. We currently offer free delivery within the Scottish Borders and a £5 charge for delivery to East Lothian or North Northumberland.

  9. On acceptance by us of your order form or order we shall advise you by email confirmation, message on social media, telephone or text message to confirm the intended delivery date.

  10. Anomalies in your submitted personal details may lead to problems or delays in your delivery, so before placing your order, please ensure that you have included the full address details, including full and accurate postcode of the intended recipient, any direction details regarding delivery, your contact telephone number or email address so that we can contact you in the event that any delivery problems are encountered.

  11. Whilst we agree to use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that delivery will be on the requested or agreed delivery date you acknowledge that in very occasional circumstances delivery on the requested date will not be possible. In such circumstances you will be given prior notice wherever possible and we shall either make alternative arrangements or shall reimburse your payment in full.
